On-Site Volunteer Opportunities
- Thursday, October 17 - ~1:30pm – 4:30pm
- 2 volunteers to greet attendees arriving at the Sacramento Valley Station and provide local transportation information. Maps and transit information handouts will be provided.
- Friday, October 18 - 7:00am to 4:00pm (See shift times below)
- Staggered volunteers to be at the Tour Information & Welcome Desk, to assist staff and attendees with registration & local information.
- 1 volunteer – 7:00am – 10:00am
- 1 volunteer – 10:00am – 1:00pm
- 1 volunteer – 1:00pm – 4:00pm
- Staggered volunteers to be at the Tour Information & Welcome Desk, to assist staff and attendees with registration & local information.
- Friday, October 18 - ~1:30pm – 4:30pm
- 2 volunteers to greet attendees arriving at the Sacramento Valley Station and provide local transportation information. Maps and transit information handouts will be provided.
- Friday, October 18 - Afternoon
- 1 knowledgeable volunteer to plan the SacRT System tour & 1 – 2 additional volunteer guides for the tour.
- Friday, October 18 – Time TBD
- Multiple volunteers to provide transportation with their private vehicles from the Sheraton Grand Hotel to & from the Siemens Mobility Plant for plant tour – ~10 miles each way
- Friday, October 18 – ~5:30pm – 7:00pm
- 2 volunteers to assist in directing attendees from the Sheraton Grand Hotel to the nearby Welcome Reception site.
- Saturday, October 19 - 7:00am to 4:00pm
- Staggered volunteers to be at the Registration, Information & Welcome Desk, to assist staff and attendees with registration, distribution of materials & local information. Also assist with directing movement between sessions rooms during day.
- 2 volunteers – 7:00am – 10:00am
- 2 volunteers – 10:00am – 1:00pm
- 2 volunteers – 1:00pm – 4:00pm
- Staggered volunteers to be at the Registration, Information & Welcome Desk, to assist staff and attendees with registration, distribution of materials & local information. Also assist with directing movement between sessions rooms during day.
- Sunday, October 20 – Afternoon
- Multiple volunteers to provide transportation with their private vehicles for the wine tour – details to be determined.
Each volunteer who completes their assigned and agreed upon task(s) will receive 300 Amtrak Guest Reward points as our Thank You!
